  • ALASKA NATIVE LAW

DMGZ attorneys are experienced in representing Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) regional and village corporations and issues unique to the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA).

Our work has included advising Native corporations on issues such as shareholder and corporate matters, subsidiary formation, and land conveyances. DMGZ attorneys are experienced in negotiating land use permits, easements and leases with private developers and/or state and federal agencies while taking precautions for natural resource sustainability and preservation. This approach provides Native corporations with the opportunity to competitively bring sustainable development to regions across the state.

DMGZ also assists Native organizations with day-to-day business matters involving real estate transactions, investments, employment relations, and buying and selling businesses. DMGZ attorneys have extensive experience handling claims unique to Alaska Native corporations.
