  • LITIGATION, APPEALS AND ARBITRATION

When controversies or litigation arise we believe the best approach calls for prompt case assessment, focused strategy and persistent execution. Our first priority is to exceed our clients’ goals – be it early resolution through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) or trying a case to verdict. We view our clients as partners in the litigation process, and believe in responsive communication. We don’t churn files or run cases through the litigation machine. We staff cases appropriately and look for the most focused, effective approach.

We handle a wide range of cases in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, with particular emphasis on defense of personal injury and product liability claims, employment disputes, construction matters, business-related litigation, and professional malpractice. We also represent clients in appeals before the Alaska Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. We have tried cases in Barrow, Dillingham, Fairbanks, Kenai, Kodiak, Anchorage, Palmer, and throughout Southeast Alaska for a variety of clients, including Alaska-based, national and international companies, as well as insurers and public institutions.

We understand the unique qualities an Alaska case can present, whether it is in an urban or rural area. Our trial attorneys combine an energy and depth of experience that is second to none.
