PROFILEMs. Barlow came to the firm in 2006 with a diverse legal background. She was a Federal Law Clerk for the Honorable James M. Fitzgerald and the Honorable H. Russell Holland, both District Court Judges for the United States District Court of Alaska. She then spent six years in private practice litigating insurance coverage issues, contract disputes, real estate disputes and employment law issues. Over the next five years, Ms. Barlow gained extensive trial practice as a Deputy County Counsel in California representing the Department of Social Services in cases dealing with abused and neglected children and then prosecuting felony sexual assaults as a Deputy District Attorney for the State of Alaska. PRACTICE EXPERIENCEMs. Barlow's practice consists of litigation before both state and federal courts and administrative agencies with an emphasis in representation of employers and insurance companies before the Alaska Workers' Compensation Board.
